Meet StudyBuddy
Your child's own Intelligent Study Partner that gives hints, never answers.
StudyBuddy is an AI study partner – and we know that's exactly why some parents hesitate. Here's exactly how it's built to stay safe, with no exceptions.
How We Keep This Safe
It cannot see the answer
The correct answer, mark scheme, and explanation are never sent to the AI in the first place – it isn't a rule we ask it to follow, it's information it's never given. There's nothing for it to let slip, even if a child asks directly.
It only knows the question on screen
StudyBuddy only ever discusses the single question your child is working on right now. It has no access to other topics, other exams, or open-ended conversation – there's simply nothing else for it to talk about.
Optional, off by default
StudyBuddy is never switched on automatically. Your child chooses it, exam by exam, so it's never a surprise – and every exam works perfectly well without it.
One switch turns it off for good
Parents are always in control: turn StudyBuddy off completely from Profile Settings and the option disappears everywhere on the site, on every exam, until you switch it back on.

- D15
- E16
This is a scripted example so you always see exactly how StudyBuddy behaves – including when a child tries to ask for the answer outright.
An intelligent companion for parents – a plain-English summary of how your child is progressing, their weak areas, and what to focus on next. It speaks to you, not your child, and only ever draws on your own child's real exam history.
Available now from your Parent Dashboard – try the questions on the right to see the kind of answers it gives.
